Let There Be Glow

Fans of the carnival show GLOW, which is fast becoming one of the more popular events during the carnival season, can sign a breath of relief to know that the July 1st event will take place after all, contrary to earlier reports.

Chief Executive Officer of the Carnival Development Corporation Ashfors Wood in a media release indicated that the GLOW fete remains a part of the calendar of events for Vincy Mas 2009.

The show, which encourages patrons to wear all white, will feature the top soca artistes in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and is expected to feature an overseas guest appearance.

Although there were some doubts with regards to the staging of the show, Wood said that things were in place and the show is expected to be as exciting as ever.
