Fifteen for Ragga Soca Finals
Ten men, five women will be
contesting the first ever Ragga Soca Finals to be held during the Carnival season.
The ÔGroovy MusicÕ singers
were selected from a batch of 44 artistes who contested the preliminary
selections on June 6th at the Peace Memorial Hall.
They will face each other in
the finals slated for Sunday June 15th at the Victoria Park.
The finalists are Zoelah singing her song ÔWine up on meÕ, Full Clip: ÔGimme
GalÕ, Bomani: ÔTil Morning CumÕ, Bam: ÔBurning UpÕ, Tabia: ÔAh Feeling ItÕ, Karen Veira:

ÔDo YouÕ and Dennis Bowman 'Dem Bodies'.
The Ragga Soca Competition, which was usually held during the
Independence celebrations, was previously organized by Garage Inc.
Skarpyon was the last winner of the competition.
