On Friday July 1st Miss Carival 2011 Iantavian Queeley of St. Kitts Nevis will crown a new queen during the staging of the 27th annual First Citizens Group Miss Carival pageant.
The show which begins at 8 pm sharp at Carnival City Victoria Park will see competition from 10 beauties one of which is Miss St. Vincent and the Grenadines 2012 Miss LIME Carice Glasgow.
The other girls taking part are Miss Dominica Nadira Lando, Miss Dominican Republic Emilicy Montano, Miss Jamaica Candice Bulli, Miss St. Kitts Nevis Kalia Huggins, Miss St. Lucia Roxanne Nicholas, Miss Trinidad and Tobago Davia Chambers, Miss Venezuela Astrid Martinez, Miss Anguilla Olufunmike Banks-Devonish, Miss Barbados Charlene Christmas
The ladies will compete in four categories, swimwear, evening gown, talent while they will also answer questions in the interview segment of the show.
The winner will get US$4,300 compliments the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) while second place will get US$1300 and third place US$700.
Last year, Miss St. Vincent and the Grenadines 2011 Aviar Charles placed second.
