Miss Golden Vale Jeanetta Richards is the winner of the 2012 Miss East St. George pageant.
Richards sponsored by National Properties Limited won the pageant on Friday June 8th at Club Swallows (formerly Club Macomay) in Villa. The Golden Vale resident who plans to be a nurse also won in three of the judged categories of competition. She won best interview, best swimwear and the evening gown segment.

"I am quite ecstatic", said Richards after being crowned by Miss SVG 2012 Miss LIME Carice Glasgow. She added that this was her first pageant and she enjoyed the experience. She also thanked her family and friends for supporting her while her chaperone Sheridon Haynes (Miss East St. George 2010) also came in for high praises

The first runner up position went to Miss Calliaqua Evonnique Pierre (sponsored by Cardo). Pierre was also judged to have performed the best talent. Second runner up was Miss Glen Mollisa Richardson (sponsored by Sprott's Distributors Ltd) while Miss Fairhall Kimberly Garraway (sponsored by CDC and Hairoun) came in fourth.

The other contestants were Miss Villa Michleen John (sponsored by Howard's Marine Ltd) and Miss Ratho Mill Kimmesha Williams (sponsored by K'Electric Co. Ltd). The competition was won last year by Miss Calliaqua Kelise Haynes .
