There is a new queen in the valley.
On Friday July 15th, Miss Cato and Heavy Equipment Leeonney Bentick representing Calder Ridge was crowned Miss P'tani.
The show which was held at the La Croix Palletization saw the 17-year-old Calder Ridge beauty wining three of the four judged categories.
She walked away with the Best Interview, Best Swimwear and Best Evening Wear segments of the show.
Bentick who is a final year student at the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College beat Miss Courts (St Vincent) Ltd Kenisha Matthias (Freeland) into second place and Miss People's Pharmacy Samantha Wilson (Glenside) into third.
Miss Sunsail Allisa Martin (Carriere) was judged to have performed the 'Best Talent' award while Wilson was judged to be the friendliest by her fellow contestants and given the Miss Congeniality award. Miss Red Dog Garage Natasha Abraham (Freeland) was Miss Photogenic.
The other contestants were Miss Everything Concrete Rosanna Maloney (Greiggs), Miss Specks Concrete Products Sherena Scott (Glenside) and Miss Jar Plum Shannell Pierre (Richland Park).
Shackell Bobb (2011) won the pageant last year.
